Jim Jones has found his self in a lot of trouble he was arrested for taking the Georgia Police on a high speed chase. Jim Jones and his friends were apprehended and arrested for drugs and gun possession.
Jim was a back seat passenger in a car that the Georgia police pulled over Thursday night in Cowetta County. The Sheriff department is reporting, instead of the driver stopping the car, the driver gave chase. During, the chase the car hit a deputy vehicle and then finally stopped.
Once the car stopped the police discovered it was Jim Jones and 3 other passengers. Police searched the vehicle and they found Marijuana, oxycodone, percoect, vape cartridges, THC oil, 2 loaded pistols and cash.
One of the pistoles were stole, according to the police. Jim Jones nor the passengers admitted to possession to any of the items. But Jimmy did admit to having a prescription for the pills that were found. Jim Jones told the police that he told the driver to stop but the driver seemed “incoherent”.
All the passengers were arrested after no one took claim of the paraphernalia found in the car. Jim Jones was charged with possession of stolen gun, possession of a firearm during a commission of a crime and possession of narcotics, all felonies. He also was charged with misdemeanor for his perception pills not being in the proper container.
Jimmy was released on $7,000 bail.
