Rapper Meek Mill was sentenced to 2-4 years in jail for violating his probation.
There is no secret Meek has had is share of run in’s with the law, most recently was his arrest in New York after police arrested him after claiming they watched him on social media the day before riding his bike and popping wheelies in the street. A few months ago Meek was also involved in an altercation at a St Louis airport which led in Meek being arrested.
Although both charges were dropped, Meek was still brought to court on charges that he technically violated his probation due to coming in contact with the police.
The Judge- who has been involved with Meek’s original case in 2008; sentenced the rapper to a minimum of 2 years. The rapper was taken into custody immediately which caused the internet to go in an uproar feeling that the punishment was too harsh for the petty cases that led up to the sentencing.
